Thanksgiving Table Courtesy of Amazon

I pieced together this Thanksgiving table on Amazon three years ago when Covid made shopping in real stores impossible. We had just moved into our house, and I had zilch for holiday decorations.

Four years later, I still love this muted, simple Thanksgiving table.

My rules for table decor are pretty simple:

Centerpiece can’t be tall. What’s the point of having table decor if you can’t see over it to talk to everyone at the table or you have to move it to eat? Lame. No thanks.

I want room on the table for this weird thing called FOOD at a meal. Call me crazy, but I don’t want to fight the table decorations just to put the rolls, butter, and cranberry sauce on the table.

Eucalyptus

(I ordered two of the eucalyptus. One was not enough. Two was too much. Of course.)

This table comes together quick. The first year it took a little longer to decorate because I had to cut the eucalyptus to the lengths I wanted (some long pieces, some short pieces). Years following it is a breeze, and now Kate decorates the entire table all by herself.
