No Green Thumb Required!

Want a gorgeous, productive garden, but you’re short on time? Does walking outside to harvest fresh, organic herbs and vegetables year-round sound like a dream come true, but you’re not sure you can make the magic happen on your own? We have great news! Bringing the garden magic is Monarch’s specialty! And you don’t have to be one of our garden clients! We care for plenty of gardens we didn’t build.

After Install Day

A garden is only as good as the care it gets after it’s installed, so we stay in it with you, in whatever way fits how involved you want to be. Gardening is a life-long hobby that requires patience to learn. It’s incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, especially if you love learning!

Want to learn to care for your garden yourself? That’s exactly what Monarch Garden Society is for! It’s our online educational platform, where gardeners of every skill level, from brand new to experienced, learn from our team and grow together in the sweetest community of Houston gardeners.

If you installed your garden so you can have fresh organic produce year-round, but you don’t really have the time or energy to invest in learning to garden, that’s okay too! We offer two maintenance options, depending on how hands-on you’d like to be.

Maintenance, handled

Bi-Weekly

Our team works in your garden every other week. We build a custom planting plan around what you want to grow, then keep adding and removing plants all year so you never miss a planting window. Fresh compost every three months. We handle the bulk of the maintenance and you simply get to enjoy your garden. Though it’s your garden, so dig in between visits whenever you like! Perfect if you want to harvest every week but don’t have time to keep up with it.

Quarterly

Our team stops by at the beginning of each season. We remove the plants that need to come out, add several inches of fresh compost, add the plants you want to grow for the season (we provide a list to choose from!), tidy up what’s staying, add organic fertilizer, and label everything with our beautiful plant tags. Between visits, your garden is yours. Perfect if you know how to garden and just want support at the start of each season. No more running all over town to find what you need.

BUY YOUR ORGANIC PLANTS AND COMPOST YEAR-ROUND

Even if you’re not on a maintenance plan, you’re never on your own! We sell organic plants, soil, compost, trellises, and tools directly to you, so keeping your garden thriving is always just a message away.

Pots and Planters

We also maintain the pots and planters around your home, replanting with seasonal color, refreshing the soil, and keeping everything looking beautiful in between. It’s the same care your garden gets, brought to your front door and back porch.
